Guys, my air conditioning has been out for two weeks. We're going to be putting another one in this Thursday - I'm super excited about that because it has been so stinkin' hot here in the midwest. Luckily, we have two air conditioning units - the one on our top level is the one that is still running. Cool air drops which means it will drop to our first level - I'll take anything at this point!
To keep our mind off of the heat, I decided to whip our family up a strawberry ice cream parfait using some of the Outshine Fruit Bars I found while shopping at Walmart!
I got a few packages because they were a great deal: the Outshine Strawberry Yogurt and Coconut Fruit Bars. I had to get it because it reminded me of my childhood when my mom used to feed us coconut flavored ice cream!
The moment you have been waiting for, the directions on how to make this awesome strawberry fruit parfait.

Directions for Strawberry Fruit Parfait
While you might be tempted to eat it off of the stick, cut the Outshine Strawberry Fruit Bar into half inch cubes.
I started by cutting them long ways.
Next, cut them into chunks.
Put them in the bowl for the next 5 minutes to keep them frozen.
Next, cut up the fresh strawberries.
In a jar or cup, put in half a cup of strawberry yogurt.
Followed by the cut Outshine Strawberry Fruit Bar.
Next, add in the fresh strawberries.
Add a layer of granola on top.
Followed by fudge.
Who wouldn't want a taste of this with the delicious Outshine Strawberry Fruit Bar being gluten-free and fat-free?!
For any extra remaining Outshine fruit bars, I will assure you that they will be gone once you turn your backs. They are a delicious option for a hot summer day.
You can feel good about eating them because Outshine Bars are aiming to become GMO-free by the end of the year with all of their bars! Check out Walmart stores on the weekend of 7/14 for samples to try it for yourself!
