- Turn over your IKEA Kallax unit and screw in the furniture plates into four corners of the underside of your cabinet. Try to place these symmetrically.
- Some legs come with existing hanger bolts that you would want to remove. Do so using a vice grip.
- Screw in the new hanger bolts into your IKEA furniture legs using the vice grip.
- Screw the legs with the hanger bolts into the furniture plates that you screwed into place.
- Keep twisting the leg until it fully fits into the furniture plate. Once secured in place, turn the cabinet around and place it where you want!
