Delicious and easy instant oatmeal cookies with vanilla flavoring that is super easy to make.
With back to school just around the corner as well as my maternity leave soon ending, I’m definitely pre-planning my morning routine. I’ll be adding a baby to my routine, so there will be a lot for me to remember: bottles, milk, nap time pillows and sheets, lunch, my pumping bag … its a lot!
One thing that I plan on doing is making breakfast easy. I created this delicious instant oatmeal cookies with vanilla recipe using Quaker Instant Oatmeal, Maple and Brown Sugar that would be perfect in the morning before the hubs heads to work and the girls are dropped off at school!
You NEED this for your breakfast!! It is super fast to make, oh so delicious, and addictive!
Instant Oatmeal Cookies with Vanilla Flavoring
First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray your cookie sheet with non-stick spray:
Here are your ingredients: Quaker Instant Oatmeal, Maple and Brown Sugar, vanilla extract, flour, a stick o’ butter, ground cinnamon, baking powder, and sugar.
Mix the dry ingredients together. Flour.
Followed by baking soda, cinnamon, and sugar.
Then, add in the good stuff that makes this bad boy – Quaker Instant Oatmeal, Maple and Brown Sugar.
Now, for the wet ingredients: vanilla extract into the butter. Everything’s better with butter right – including these instant oatmeal cookies?!
Then mix the wet and the dry.
Mix it good and thorough. Then, roll it into balls and smash them into the cookie pan. Stick it in the oven for 15 minutes, and you’ll get deliciousness that looks like this:
They were gone as soon as I got them out of the oven.

Vanilla Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 packets of Quaker Instant Oatmeal Maple and Brown Sugar
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Use non-stick spray to lightly spray a baking sheet.
- Mix all of the ingredients together.
- Roll the dough into 12 balls.
- Flatten each ball and place them on the pre-sprayed baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove and let it sit for 10 minutes before placing cookies on a wire rack to cool.
