Besides not being able to find matching tupperware lids, one of the biggest kitchen organization issues I have had is organizing and finding spices. In the past, I've often used this as an excuse to get out of cooking for Ryan.
In all seriousness, I truly didn't have a kitchen for the first 4 years of our marriage. It was more like a make shift kitchen. As I mentioned before, we lived in this huge shop/garage back in 2009 for about 4 years. It really didn't have a kitchen, so my counters comprised of the top of the washing machines as well as an old '70s kitchen table. My pantry consisted of metal shelves. Yeppers. So, you shouldn't be surprised when I tell you that the way I organized spices was inside Rubbermaid tubs back in the day.
Now, with kids, we've moved up in house, where I actually have a kitchen now. Not only do I have a kitchen, I have ... wait for it ... a pantry! What?! One of my favorite things about the house are my slide out spice racks. Freaking awesome. You can't even begin to understand how much this makes cooking easier!!

I would die for this! My spices are sitting on a cabinet in the pantry and I can't find them half of the time. Lucky You!
