The Cricut Joy is an amazing piece of crafting innovation that is going to help you organize your home. I'm going to be sharing some starter projects you can do with the Cricut Joy.
I provided you an overview of the Cricut Joy, however in this article I wanted to provide you an in-depth home organization tutorial listing of what you can use it to make. This post should give you an idea and overview of how the Cricut Joy can be a practical organizational tool that can help you make streamlining certain parts of your home easier.
These are the Cricut Joy home organization projects I'm going to be sharing with you in this post:
- Labels for Glass Pantry Jars and Canisters
- Storage Boxes for Drawers
- Scrapbook and Binder Spine Labels
- Basement Tote Labels
- Lettering with Cricut Markers and Pens
Let's start inspiring you on how to get organized with your Cricut Joy.
Organize Your Home with Cricut Joy
Make Your Own Labels for Glass Pantry Jars and Canisters
The Cricut Joy will allow you to quickly make labels to further beautify the jars, canisters, and other storage in your pantry.
If you need everything looking uniform and consistent in your pantry, this project for creating pantry labels will be sure to organize the labels in your space. Check out my full tutorial on how to create pantry labels with a Cricut machine.
Make Your Own Storage Boxes for Drawers
If you have a nick nack drawer like the rest of us, I'm sure during spring cleaning or winter purging, you may have a need for a small box to contain some of those little things that don't have homes.
Making boxes with the Cricut Joy is super simple to do. Templates are readily available in Design Space, Cricut's free software with available upgrades. You can create boxes, fold them, and assemble them fairly quickly.
Scrapbook and Binder Spine Labels
If you need to create binder spine labels for any ringed binder or scrapbook, the Cricut Joy will allow you to not only cut, but label and draw a label for the spine of your binder.
You can also save the template for future use. Check out this tutorial on how to store kids school work and art work, and how I use the Cricut machine to print out the labels.
Basement Tote Label Organization
Generally, I label the totes that store all of our extras in the basement. I've gone with clear plastic totes so that I can visually see the contents within the totes. I use the label to help categorize and visualize what should be in the tote.
Cricut Lettering with Markers and Pens
You can use the Cricut Joy markers and pens to write anything that you need great penmanship on. The Cricut Joy is a versatile machine and has a large selection of markers that you can choose from for creating any piece of art that you'd want to draw. Check out my post on how to use Cricut markers and pens for your first project.
Cricut Joy Products for Home Organization
These are some of my favorite tools and supplies for creating projects that allow you to keep your home nice and organized.
Cricut Joy for Home Organization
The Cricut Joy doesn't have to be relegated to your craft room. Whether or not you have a cutting machine already, the Cricut Joy is a great machine that is not only portable, but compact enough to pack away into a corner nook in your kitchen. It is easily transferable to another room so that you can use it anywhere like including your kitchen counter, coffee table, office, and basement to make quick and easy home organization projects in less than 15 minutes.
It can set up instantly, making it really easy to move from space to space. The introduction of the Cricut Joy also came with a full-suite of new materials that allow some projects not to even use a mat using Smart Vinyl. With Smart Vinyl, you can also cut repeated patterns and designs for up to 20 feet.
Whether or not you have a cutting machine already, the Cricut Joy will prove to be an amazing little companion to what you already have.
Design Space Projects for Home Organization with Cricut Joy
Design Space is the software that is used across all Cricut products to make your designs and send to your Cricut machine.
With a small upgrade, Design Space offers additional projects that you can access, providing you a library of organizational ideas at your fingertips.
Cricut Design Space is known for making their software easy to use, even for beginners. Check out my full overview of Cricut Joy here.
As you can see, there are a lot of Cricut Joy home organizational projects that you can make. I hope all of these resources and tutorials are helpful to you to further organize your home.
