Adult popsicles are absolutely delicious ANYTIME, but especially during the summer. I show you with four ingredients how to make the perfect boozy popsicle, and you can even substitute it with a alcohol-removed bottle!
Having had three kids in the last four years, I feel like I have had to sworn off alcohol. Now, with my new baby's arrival, I'm free to introduce some wine and beer in my life! However, I really don't want to pump and dump because breast milk is like liquid gold!
However, there are awesome alternatives - Fre Alcohol-removed Wines. They have less than 0.5% alcohol and half the calories of traditional wine, but contains the characteristic aromas and flavors of premium wine. Amazing!
So, I'm introducing for the first time, my mocktail recipes using Fre Alcohol-removed Wines using their Chardonnay and Red Blend variety. The first is a yummy sangria using the Chardonnay and the second are adult popsicles using the Red Blend! Both recipes are delicious for summa time and this breast feeding momma.
Ingredients for Easy Adult Popsicles Recipe
Here are the ingredients, pretty simple:
Pour in the delicious Fre Alcohol-removed Chardonnay.
Add in the lemonade.
Slice up your fruits.
Put it in the pitcher, let it sit overnight so the flavors meld. Right before serving, add in the lemon-lime soda.
Doesn't this just scream summertime?
Sangria Mocktail with Chardonnay
You can never go wrong with popsicles. Imagine eating this with your spouse on a hot summer day after working in the sweltering heat! No better way to cool off. You'll need a popsicle mold obviously! Try one of these:
Squeeze your lemons.
Pour in your Fre Alcohol-removed Red Blend.
Add in the sugar. Now, I will say you can add in a bunch of cut up fruit, but I've never been a fan of fruit in my popsicles. But, have at it if that's what you like.
Put everything into a sauce pan and make sure the sugar dissolves using medium-high heat. Remove from stovetop.
Pour them into the mold! And, if the kids are looking like mine did, I poured some strawberry-banana juice with nothing in it so they didn't feel left out.
Fre wines are amazing at being bases for great mocktail recipes. Check out my recipe for my Raspberry Freeze drink, another awesome concoction for the hot summer heat!
