Halloween is almost here! Have you gotten your family themed costumes lined up yet?!

One thing I’m looking forward to as Halloween draws near is all of the fun fall festivities including all of the fall and Halloween events all round town. What better way to bring in Halloween and the fall season than going to a pumpkin patch and getting your face painted …

and posing with your siblings in a prop cut out!

With all these festivities, I’ve been thinking about ways to snack on the go while keeping up with the holiday spirit.

Today, I’m sharing with you an awesome DIY Halloween Snack Koozies that you can use for your walking tacos (a fun trend where you can mix different snacks in a container and enjoy them on the go). Aren’t these fun?!

I picked up all the ingredients for our delicious walking tacos at Walmart by picking up some Vanilla, Butterscotch, and Chocolate Snack Pack® Cups, Reddi-Wip, and some NABISCO Go-Paks (which can be in found near the front aisles). At one dollar a piece, these are delicious snacks to stock up on – and you can save using this coupon here.

To make the walking tacos pictured below, take some  get some NABISCO Go-Paks! Mini NILLA Wafers and empty the cup out for now.

Take a  Snack Pack® Cup in Vanilla and mix it into the Go-Paks! cup.

Next, put half of the cookies back into the cup. Then layer it with some Reddi Wip Original. After that, place a few of the cookies in a circular display for presentation (this recipe is easy, so you gotta make it “look” hard).

Next, top it off with a banana or cherry! Yums right?!

To transform it into something extra spooky and fun, we’re going to be using some foam, felt, googly eyes, twine, hot glue gun, velcro adhesive, and scissors to make these DIY Halloween Snack Koozie.

First, cut up a shape from the foam or felt.  This is the shape you’ll want to cut out for a bat:

These are the two shapes for the witch below. Add your googly eyes to your spooky creation:

Next, to decorate your yummy walking taco, there are two methods:

Velcro. Grab a strip of coordinating felt or foam. Glue it to your creation. Next, put the adhesive velcro on the ends to attach the two opposite strips together.

Twine. Just cut out a small hole with your scissors and pull the tine through and tie!
