My first child turned a year old on May 30. I am now just getting to editing her photo shoot. And to answer your question: yes, I did stylize my daughter’s first birthday cake smash! What mother wouldn’t 🙂 She’s too stinkin’ cute not too. We got her a huge cupcake from the Bridal Kitchen in Lee’s Summit to smash. I know, it looks too pretty to smash, but we HAD to do it.
My husband thinks I went over the top with this. I’m totally okay with it. He said with the next baby, we have to equally invest the same amount of energy him/her. I think he secretly enjoys that I make a big deal out of it 🙂
