This post is sponsored by Goodwill. All excitement and enthusiasm are my own. Thanks for supporting the sponsored that make this blog possible.

In 2012, we moved into our home without a lot of furniture. With two kids at the time as well as being early in our careers, we really weren't in a position to splurge on furnishing our home. I often shopped at Goodwill for baby clothes and also searched for second hand home decor.

A few years later, the universe blessed us with two additional kids, a fully furnished home thanks to our careers and our side hustles. Our basement and closets are packed to the brim with "THINGS". While we are beyond grateful for everything we have, it is now time for us to give back. The universe has a way of bringing us back full circle.

Now that my baby girl is one, I've been comfortable enough this spring to start cleaning out the basement and our closets. We've got a ton of home decor and baby clothes that we are ready to part with.

I donate to Goodwill because of the hand up they gave to our family when we first started out. I love that they make it easy with their convenient location and ability to drive up and let someone unload my car. Donations to Goodwill fund programs and services that empower people to improve their lives through work, which helps know that my donation makes a difference.

While I from time to time use Facebook Marketplace to try to sell my stuff, I have no time to coordinate and meet people to make a couple extra dollars while trying to manage a household of six. With our basement storage shelving completely full, I knew it was time for me to start purging anything I haven't used in the last two years. This includes home decor, extra Christmas decorations, baby clothes and kitchen gadgets.

With Goodwill, I know that all the money stays in the community to help empower people to earn and keep job. With 90 cents of every dollar spent, you are helping further this mission.

I love that their mission is to empower people seeking jobs and careers so that they can be self-sustainable.
