In honor of Amazon Prime Day, I wanted to share with you a few of my MOST FAVORITE gadgets that have helped me navigate what we call motherhood.
Instant Pot.
Conundrum: You forgot to thaw out the chicken breast the night before.
How this product helps: Instead of waiting the next day to use the chicken breast, you can cook it in less than 30 minutes using the pressure cooker function. Oh, and did I tell you it has 6 other features (for example, it also acts like a slow cooker)?
Spectra S1
Conundrum: You bought the a breast pump (like Medela), but the suction for some reason has given way. Now, your supply is reduced because you aren't pumping as much as you are supposed to.
How this product helps: This product is hospital grade. I have had TWO Medela Freestyle Pumps, and even when new, that pump does not compare to this one. The Medela Freestyle is 33% more expensive, but it comes with more parts (like bottles, freezer package, etc). But when you are looking at a GOOD pump, look no further than the Spectra S1. Trust me, I have four babies. This thing is legit.
Charlie Breast Pump Bag
Conundrum: When you head to work, you are known as bag lady: laptop bag, gym bag, purse, lunch bag, baby bag.
How this product helps: After investing in TONS of diaper bags, this one has all the bells and whistles. This is my favorite of all time. The partitions are PERFECT and you can store your pump in a separate compartment. It has pockets in all the right places.
Air Fryer
Conundrum: You are trying to lose weight, but you love fried foods.
How this product helps: If you love french fries, with this product, all you need to do is cut up a potato, spritz some olive oil on it, heat it up to 375 and 30 minutes - and you've got yourself some delicious fries. It also does bacon wrapped shrimp and more. Get the Instant Pot first, then get the Air Fryer.
