As a former wedding photographer, I had the privilege and honor to witness and be a part of an overwhelming flood of love, joy, and happiness. These emotions are exponential during a wedding day and become so very present. I am provided the opportunity to make myself vulnerable to see them and provide a visual story telling of those moments.
On a wedding day, you get to witness not only the love of two people, but the love of their family with them. These moments are beautiful and grand. And on this day, I always carry Kleenex tissues for moments like ....
.... a dad seeing their daughter for the first time on her wedding day.
... a groom seeing their beautiful bride for the first time walking down the aisle.
.... a mom trying to hold it together while seeing her baby girl come down the aisle.
... the groom realizing and taking in the moment before they are one.
... a mom who just moments ago walked her daughter down the aisle realizing the kiss meant two families are melding together.
... a daughter who didn't think she'd be able to dance with her father.
... a father who is dancing with his baby girl.
.... a father dancing with his baby realizing their song is almost ending.
... a mother dancing with her son.
... and an emotional speech from Dad to end the night.
