This post is sponsored by Carter's; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

While I love shopping for my girls, I am loving shopping for my baby boy! I thought it would be hard at first, but it turns out that baby boy outfits are so much easier to coordinate.

Conrad is now starting to pick his own outfits. His little personality is really shining through!

I've learned through the years that if I don't start restricting kids and their outfits, their closets can get out of hand! Carter's makes it simple by providing classic and seasonal outfits that are easy to coordinate.

Setting the precedent early of outfits they are allowed to wear (because they easily coordinate) allows our morning routines to be a little less chaotic by making decisions easy - whether it is by me or my wild child.

Creating a capsule wardrobe is pretty easy with Carter's collection for in their Spring and Easter shop! Below is a collection of cute little dude apparel that can span across spring, Easter and even summer!

    Capsule Wardrobe for Boys Essentials

    long sleeve button down shirts
    short sleeve collared shirts
    khaki pant/shorts
    jean pant
    patterned shorts
    boat shoes

Using a few long sleeve button downs as layering items earlier in the season provides a super cute contrast! Transitioning from spring to summer could be as simple as removing a layer, like this denim button up.

Or even this plaid button down that we matched with a salmon collar shirt.

With this spring capsule wardrobe for my little boy, I was also able to mix the denim and salmon top with a cute pair of boating shorts! And just look at those loafers!

This look can also pass for Easter!

I also then paired the shorts with a cute striped collar shirt. This is a fun outfit for exploring!

With just a few key essentials, your little one can have a stylish spring and summer season! And if your kids are anything like mine, I'm sure they'll be invited to birthday and summer parties in the next few months. Having some of these cute staples that you can mix and match will make things a little easier!
