Its been a crazy month – and I have had not had the slightest time to update this blog or my photo blog! I just made a count down excel sheet for when this next baby arrives. 43 days and counting. I feel bad for munchkin number two because I am not in the least prepared as I was the first go around. Every mom of multiple kids has told me this is normal. Lets hope so.
I’ve got so much left to do:
- Buy a crib. I realize Ansley didn’t sleep in hers for the first 6 months of her life, but I feel like I need to get it done.
- Pack my maternity bag. Its got a few stuff, but I need to still add in newborn clothes, receiving blankets…etc. At least this time around, I won’t overpack.
- Edit photos. I’ve got one session left to do, then Ansley’s cake smash.
- Blog. I’ve got soo much to blog. I guess this is what I’ll do during maternity leave…here’s a list of what I still would like to blog about: how I used Jayme’s DIY laundry detergent to save us money, the process of buying a short sale and my impatience, thought process around buying a new car, Double R Ranch visit in Kansas, Ansley’s first birthday, DIY chiffon petti skirt, DIY duck marsh boat, one a month cooking, DIY newborn baby poser…what’s crazy is these are all in draft mode and all I need to do is add photos to them 🙂
I’m writing this blog as fussy bear is taking her two hour afternoon nap. Let’s see if I can finish editing my photos during this time (fingers crossed). I hope to be back and blogging cool DIY stuff soon.
Oh, and did I tell you that Ansley doesn’t need dentures after all? Her birthday wish for her two bottom teeth came true! And (drum roll) there was no crazy teething “episode”. So now…we’re on to switching her from formula to whole milk – that, however, is not going so well. Does anyone have any tips and tricks for that?
