Last week, as Ryan and I were cleaning, we were rummaging through a random box of home fixtures. We found some baby proofing cabinet locks, and had some quick flashbacks of what it truly meant to have an infant/toddler. With Baby Number Three on the way, we are soon realizing how far we have come with the girls. As of now, both girls are almost 3 and 4, and we have gotten rid of diapers, formula, locks... We've also been able to sleep through the night 95% of the time. In a couple of days, we'll be introducing diapers, formula and locks again as well as sleepless nights.
Don't get me wrong. I'm blessed with this third pregnancy (secretly hoping Ryan will say yes to a fourth), but I'm so not prepared for these sleepless nights. I'm hoping baby boy will be a sleeper.
We typically do our family portraits annually in the Spring. So this is our last family portrait as a family of four. Integrated into these portraits were the pregnancy announcement props we were going to use last year, but never got around to - so we decided to incorporate here. Better late than never right?
