My girls love games, so I wanted to make our Jenga game into sight word Jenga!
With my girls are going into preschool and Kindergarten - and learning sight words has been one of our focuses to prepare them for school. Helping them recognize sight words is going to be important if I want to help them read successfully, because the words don't sound the way they look.
This sight word Jenga game allows kids to successfully increase their reading skills!
To I also didn't want to permanently mark on our Jenga games. Here are instructions on how to create one!

Directions for Sight Word Jenga
1. Place a transparent piece of tape on the Jenga game block.
2. Write your site word on it! That's it! So easy 🙂
3. These were a few of our sight words for our preschoolers.
4. You could do this with addition and subtraction too! Just put a formula in there and have the kids solve the math problem.
Sight Word Game Instructions
Everyone gets a chance to pull the blocks like normal.
Except, when you pull out a sight word, you have to be able to recognize and say it.
If you can't, then you'll need to put the block BACK! That's the hardest part, putting it back.
And just wait for hilarity and giggles to ensue!
Finding out who will topple the tower is the most fun part!

Game night at home is always a favorite here, but I love how you changed up the Jenga game! We've had some tough second grade math assignments recently and I'm sure my son would love playing this game and working out the math problems! Plus, I'm up for any reason to have a tasty M&M's® Milk Chocolate treat! #client
