As my kids are getting a little older, I have been told it does it easier, but it also gets busier. I didn’t understand until now. It definitely is EASIER in terms of kids functioning on their own, but our schedules are crazy. Fast food had become the norm for us.

1. I sign up for Hy-Vee’s Freezer Meals. I spend an 1.5 hour each month with some friends cooking recipes for our freezers in batch. These meals are typically quick and easy on a week night. 2. On Sunday nights, I figure out what freezer meals that I’m going to use. For nights where I have more time to prepare, I use Pepperplate to meal plan for the week. I then use that “shopping list” to “shop” on Aisles Online grocery shopping. As in, I am shopping online for my groceries and other home necessities. I schedule it for pick up RIGHT AFTER work.
