The ULTIMATE FUN Guide to Using Pogo Pass Kansas City

Explore Kansas City· Vacation Ideas

Here are a few reasons why I we invested in Pogo Pass Kansas City and why you should too this summer!

Blessed are the curious as they shall have adventures. – Lovelle Drachman

After going on vacation for the first time as a family of six, I have shifted my focus less on collecting things and more on memories from experiences for my family. I know that sounds so cliche, but I think that’s what happens when you start socializing with people again after having babies!

Vacations that require travel are more often than not a huge investment. However, you don’t have to deprive your family of fun while you are saving up for that big vacation. The next best thing is exploring your own city. For our family of six, there are so many adventures to be had in our hometown of Kansas City.

I’ve found an amazing solution for those in our metro area looking to do the same thing, POGO Pass Kansas City! I know there are parents that are discovering this right now in our area, so I wanted to break down the ins and outs of it!

What is POGO Pass Kansas City?

POGO Pass is essentially an entertainment pass that can give you and your family free admission to over 15 attractions over the course of a year! Investing in this pass for your family is a great way to guarantee some amazing fun with them throughout the year.

POGO Pass isn’t just for Kansas City. You can purchase them for certain cities for cities to use in Austin, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Antonio or Dallas for their respective attractions.

Pogo Pass Kansas City Attractions

Venues Can Change At Anytime

While this is rare, venues are subject to change at any time. Typically, you will actually see that venues are added!

Each Family Member Needs One

Everyone in your family needs a pass, both parents and kids. There might be attractions whose own rules allow free entry for your infants or toddlers, so you won’t necessarily need to scan the pass for them in those scenarios.

The Pass Cannot Be Shared or Used By Anyone Other Than Passholder

Even if your toddler can get in free because of the attraction rules, it cannot be used by anyone other than the passholder (your toddler).

Two and Three Year Old Admission

If the venue charges for the age of your child, you will either need to pay their admission price or show a Pogo Pass to gain entry.

The general rule is that Pogo Passes won’t be beneficial for kids 2 and under, since few places charge admission for that age.  Even if a couple do, it will probably cost less than $39.98 to pay a few individual entry fees.  Three year olds are kind of on the border.

Most parents decide to purchase them for this age.  If you want to be sure, decide which venues you’ll visit and add up what it would cost you to pay for your three year old to enter each one.  If it’s more than $39.98, buy them a pass!  You’ll find that it will usually pay off to have a pass for a three year old.

Promotional Price Can Change at Any Time

Because venues change any time, the price may also be subject to fluctuate based on the value that you will be getting for the POGO Pass! I would recommend getting one as soon as you plan on going on your first adventure to maximize the use of them!

Passes Valid for Full Year

Passes are valid for a full year once purchased and activated!

Makes a Great Birthday Present

Instead of toys and gifts, why not give a pass full of adventure for the birthday kid! This will ensure a treat for the entire year, not just for the day.

Literally it’s one pass, one price and one full year of family experiences.

Lastly, it’s a great way to pre-plan your family’s adventure the entire year. You can’t say you were bored if you’ve maximized your time at all of these attractions! It’s a great way to already have a plan on what to do on scheduled school breaks.
