As a reward for being on their best behavior this week, I took our kids on a little outing to Culvers to try some of their renowned cheese curds. Let me tell you – these ooey-gooey curds did not disappoint.
My kids and I became smitten with these bite-sized chunks of white and yellow cheddar cheese, deep fried for a warm and buttery crunch!
While these Wisconsin cheese curds are delicious on their own, I love dipping them in ranch or my very favorite dipping sauce, Sriracha sauce.
Did you know cheese curds even have their own holiday? October 15th is National Cheese Curd Day!
My kids even mentioned how some of them were shaped like hearts – I told them finding one like that was good luck!
From one cheese curd lover to another, I will definitely say that I’ll be using this as part of my reward system moving forward.
