Nine years ago, I started blogging.
Nine years ago, Ryan bought us a DSLR that started all of this because he somehow KNEW that I would love it.
Nine years ago, I didn’t realize how cool this journey truly would be.
This blog has allowed me to journey through an amazingly creative and fun side hustle. It’s allowed me to “scrapbook” the evolution of our family from the very beginning and share my motherhood journey with all my readers – the good, the bad and the ugly. From the beginning, I’ve always wanted my little part of the web allow all everyone to feel welcome, supported and inspired.
As I evolved and became a momma along the way, I’ve found camaraderie with other parents who work outside the home and are trying to delicately balance their career and home. You love that I share the messiness along with the goodness. I want this space to encourage all moms by sharing my messy journey through motherhood as well as balancing being a good wife in this season of my life.
As I reflect, I want to thank my amazing readers who take the time to click that link and read. Thank you for not making fun of me for my white sofa when I have four kids, and laughing WITH me when my kid uses a permanent marker on it within a few weeks. Thank you for crying with me as I sat with my last baby when she was admitted to a hospital for 48 hours and providing me encouragement. Thank you for hiring me as your family photographer in Kansas City and entrusting me with your family’s memory. Thank you for clicking, reading, liking and sharing those sponsored posts as well as the embedded affiliate links that keep fuel this blog. Thank you for letting me be part of your morning coffee routine or whenever you find time to read it. It means so much.
Friends, thank you for going on this journey with me!
