I love the holidays because of how it brings families together. With our four children being all under six, we’ve been introducing family traditions it seems like every year to our new additions!

One tradition that I love the most is Christmas Eve, our families often serve up a large table full of appetizers buffet style! The appetizers would actually be our meal for that night. Who doesn’t love a variety of food to snack on during Christmas Eve?

Having multiple appetizers to prepare for the night also means having a need for a few shortcuts. I stopped by Walmart to pick up some ingredients for the next few weeks. I happened to find some  MorningStar Farms® Chipotle Black Bean Crumbles™ and MorningStar Farms® Grillers® Crumbles™ which will provide me a way to create a veggie twist! With the new year resolutions  just around the corner, this is a great way for me to incorporate a veggie cuisine. However, they are not just for vegetarians, MorningStar Farms® Crumbles are for everyone and can be used as ingredients for all holiday appetizers!

For the recipe I’m sharing below, I used the  MorningStar Farms® Chipotle Black Bean Crumbles™ which provides a blend of bold southwest spices with the flavors of chili and cumin.  This recipe is a great option for all holiday parties/gatherings, including Christmas and New Year’s Eve meals/parties! You’ve got to “Taste It To Believe It” that it’s not made with meat!
