I am so excited that Christmas is around the corner. I love celebrating this season with family and friends! What that also means is getting the house all ready for guests to come over.

I headed to Dollar General to stock up on necessities to be prepared for our extended family and friends coming over.

After purchasing Angel Soft® bath tissue, Dixie® Everyday paper plates and Sparkle® paper towels, I went home and made a cute hand towel to bring a festive look to our guest bathroom.

I love stocking up on supplies before guests come over, so that we’re not having to run errands to and from the store while they are here. With a big extended family like mine, being prepared is key! Here are a few key tips on preparing for the holidays for friends and loved ones.

How to Stock Up for the Holidays

Keep the Kitchen Stocked with Paper Plates

You do not want to be in the kitchen washing dishes while your family and friends are over. Make it easy on yourself and grab some Dixie® Everyday paper plates that guests can throw away when they are done.

Keep Paper Towels Handy

Having rolls of Sparkle® paper towels handy provide your guests a convenience way to clean up after themselves!

Keep the Bathroom Stocked

Bath tissue underneath the sink is key! Avoid the awkward questions before hand, make sure you have enough Angel Soft® bath tissue on hand.

Have Hand Towels Ready

Hand towels for the bathroom are key to drying off hands! I’m showing you a quick and easy way to create a festive hand towel with some holiday cheer.

Find your favorite fabric and sew the sides.

Use a craft cutting machine to cut the vinyl out.

Iron it on based on the vinyl instructions (which is typically 350 degrees).

There you have it – a fun and easy guest bathroom hand towel!
